NEW YORK (September 18, 2018) — Talent Inc., the global leader in career services, announced today the acquisition of the assets of eDirect Publishing Inc. and their ResumeRabbit product, a service that instantly posts a job seeker’s resume to dozens of job boards using a single registration form.
“We are committed to striking strategic partnerships and acquisitions that will enable us to diversify our product offering and, in turn, help streamline the job-seeker experience more effectively,” said Jeff Berger, CEO and founder of Talent Inc. “By acquiring ResumeRabbit, we can empower job seekers to register through a centralized location, providing them access to dozens of job boards, and moving their resume front-and-center on a hiring manager’s radar.”
As a software service launched in 2000, ResumeRabbit has provided resume-distribution services to more than 650,000 job seekers, performing over 40 million resume postings on their behalf. This patent-protected service has traditionally been delivered to U.S.-based customers only, however, Talent Inc. plans to extend the service to job seekers internationally.
“Talent and eDirect have enjoyed a successful co-marketing partnership, with our complimentary services allowing thousands of job seekers to have their resume professionally crafted and then distributed for tremendous exposure to targeted employers,” said Lee Marc, CEO and founder, eDirect Publishing, Inc. “I couldn’t imagine a more fitting acquirer and I’m thrilled that ResumeRabbit will continue to thrive and grow in such capable hands.”
As Talent Inc. continues to expand their services beyond resumes and LinkedIn profiles to also include interviewing skills and career coaching, the company will be better positioned to support job seekers throughout their job-search journey. Over the next few months, they will focus on optimizing ResumeRabbit’s user-interface and user-experience, which will improve the overall product and deliver more value to their customers.
